Who you are dealing with

Aurelius Black publishes and supports the products on this site. Payment is processed by Dodo Payments, who act as merchant of record. That means Dodo is the legal seller for the transaction, handles billing and any tax that applies, and appears on your card statement. Your contract for the product licence itself is with us.

What you are buying

A licence to use digital files, not the files themselves and not the copyright in them. Copyright stays with us. What each licence level permits is set out in full on the licence page, which forms part of these terms.

Delivery

Licence keys and download links are issued automatically once payment clears, normally within a minute. They are sent by email and are also permanently available in your account. If nothing arrives within an hour, contact us and we will resend it, and we will treat delivery as our problem rather than yours.

Delivery is triggered by the payment provider confirming the payment, not by you returning to our site. Closing the tab does not affect your order.

Pricing and currency

All prices are in United States dollars and all charges are made in United States dollars. Where a price is shown in another currency it is an approximate conversion for convenience only, is rounded, and is not the amount you will be charged. Your bank sets its own conversion rate and may add a fee.

Prices change from time to time. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay, and a later change does not affect a completed order.

Refunds

Set out in full on the refund policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: every product has a free demo, sales are final once files are released, and statutory rights that cannot be waived are unaffected and honoured.

Cancellation

You can submit a cancellation request electronically at any time using our cancellation form. Every request is acknowledged in writing and answered within one business day.

Support

Support covers the product working as described: setup, defects, and questions about what is included. It does not cover building your application for you, debugging your own code, or modifications you have made. We answer within one business day and usually much faster.

Updates

Updates to a product you own are free, permanently. We do not promise a schedule and we do not promise a product will be updated for any particular framework version forever. What we promise is that if we do update it, you get it at no cost.

Accounts

There is no password. Access is by a signed link sent to the email address used at purchase, valid for thirty days and reissuable at any time. Keep that address current, because it is the only way we can identify you.

Acceptable use

• Do not resell, sublicense or publish the source, at any licence level.
• Do not use the products to build a competing template or component marketplace.
• Do not share licence keys. A key plus mailbox access is what unlocks downloads, and sharing a key is a breach whether or not it works.
• Do not attempt to interfere with the site, its delivery system, or other customers.

Serious or repeated breaches may result in a licence being revoked without refund. We will tell you before we do that, and we will explain why.

Warranty and liability

The products are provided as described on their pages, and the demos are an accurate representation of what you receive. Beyond that they are provided as they are. We do not warrant that they are free of defects or suitable for any particular purpose you have in mind, which is exactly why every product has a free demo to evaluate first.

Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost data or business interruption. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you bought, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed. Changes are never applied retroactively to an order already placed.

Disputes

If something goes wrong, tell us first. We have never refused to talk to somebody with a genuine problem, and almost everything is resolved in one exchange of messages. Where a dispute cannot be resolved that way, it is governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which we are established, and if you are a consumer this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules in your own country of residence.
